Ruthie has been teaching yoga since 2017, the year she received her 200 hour YA certification from Corepower. Since then, she has taught in a variety of settings, including universities, corporate events, gyms, and hot studios within Washington, DC and New York City. While classic power vinyasa is her staple, she draws from the philosophical and structural principles of Katonah, Rocket, and Ashtanga to diversify her sequences and bring new possibilities of movement to her students. Her classes epitomize the Pitta dosha— she loves engaging all parts of the body, facilitating strength-building and making the asana an art form.
