I began to deepen my yoga practice to find emotional and mental balance during an intense acting conservatory program. Yoga became my movement medicine that I supplemented into my diet daily. I fell in love with the practice. I have always been involved with movement and was an actor/dancer/performer and Pilates teacher prior to becoming a devoted yogi.
I started my teacher training in Hawaii with Goodyoga studio, then added another 300 hour mixed bag of advanced trainings with Laughing Lotus, Integral Yoga Institute and The Studio. I am currently in school full time working towards a doctorate program in physical therapy.
My teaching is creative and playful, lighthearted but grounded with focus on alignment and breath. I draw inspiration from nature, poetry, my feline daughters - Basil & Cherry, my wacky imagination, my dear loved ones, anatomy and physiology, and the multitude of teachers and mentors in my life.
